Evan Sanderson is an actor and playwright based in New York City and Boston. After graduating from Boston University's School of Theatre, Evan has performed throughout Boston - acting credits include work with Shakespeare Now! (Mark Antony in Julius Caesar), Boston Playwright's Theatre (Randy in Miss Margaret LaRue in Milwaukee), Apollinaire Theatre Company (Rudi in East of Berlin), Bad Habit Productions (Claudio and Dogberry in Much Ado About Nothing), and Zeitgeist Stage Company (Adam in Time of My Life). He received an IRNE nomination for Best Actor in 2012 for his portrayal of Rudi in East of Berlin.
As a playwright, Evan's first play FALLUJAH was work shopped by Boston University as a part of the New Play Initiative. It ended up winning the 2011 Quest for Peace Award, the National Playwrighting Award, and the David Mark Cohen Playwrighting Award. It received the honor of a production at the Kennedy Center last spring.
